Carl’s Place enclosures are constructed from top-quality materials and are designed for straightforward installation. Pairing this kit with the optional Carl's Place Pipe Framing Kit ensures a faster, hassle-free setup process.
Please note Framing pipes are not included by default. If you don’t purchase the Carl's Place Pipe Framing Kitaccessory, you’ll need to source 2" EMT pipes locally to complete your Pro Enclosure frame.

What's Included
Premium Golf Impact Screen Carl’s strongest and smoothest impact screen material. This three-layer polyester surface offers outstanding durability and the highest-quality projection surface Carl’s Place has to offer.
Black Knit Enclosure A dark knit fabric surrounds the enclosure to absorb stray shots and reduce light interference, improving image contrast and focus.
Steel Fittings All steel elbows and connectors are included to link your framing pipes together. For a seamless experience, we highly recommend using the Carl’s Place Pipe Framing Kit. If not, you’ll need to buy 2-inch EMT pipe separately from a hardware store.
Ball Bungees and Zip Ties Everything needed to mount your screen is included: reusable zip ties for adjusting screen tension, and ball bungees to fine-tune slack and rebound based on your hitting speed and distance.
Accessories
Pipe Framing Kit Pre-cut, labeled 2" EMT pipes delivered to your door, perfectly sized for each enclosure model. A must-have for easy setup if you’d rather not cut or source your own pipes.
Foam Inserts Custom-cut protective foam strips that install behind your screen flaps to protect the enclosure frame from high-speed mis-hits.
Safety Baffles Designed to protect your ceiling, these padded panels hang across the top interior of your enclosure to catch any high-launching shots before they bounce back.
Back Cover Kit & Pipe Kit Blocks light from behind the simulator, improving projection clarity and adding a sleek finished look to your enclosure. Pipe kit available for those who don’t want to source EMT separately.

Shipping Information
Without Pipe Kit: Ships in 4–5 boxes, 130–150 lbs total.
With Pipe Kit: Ships on a pallet via freight. Heaviest box ~50 lbs. Someone must be present for delivery and responsible for unloading or additional charges may apply.
How far should I stand from the screen? We recommend 10–12 feet for safe and realistic play.
Can I iron or steam the screen? Do not iron. Instead, apply screen tension or gently steam with distilled water using a clean steamer.
Can I wash the screen? Yes. Follow Carl’s official screen cleaning guide for safe maintenance.
Is a hitting mat required? Absolutely. A hitting mat protects your joints and simulates realistic impact. Standard sizes like 4’x5’ or 5’x7’ are commonly used.
How is this different from the DIY or Curved Kit? This Pro version is built for commercial-grade strength and image clarity. It offers wider bays and upgraded screen material. DIY is more budget-friendly, and the Curved Kit offers panoramic projection.
What happens if a ball hits the enclosure walls? The knit material isn’t made for direct impact, but stray rebounds off the screen shouldn’t cause damage.
Can I replace the impact screen? Yes, replacement screens are available. Contact our team or check the Clearance section for discounted options.
How big is the enclosure? Allow 6–7" of ceiling clearance and subtract 4–6" from your room’s width to allow for buffer space. You’ll also need at least 9.5" behind the enclosure for the rear fittings.
What pipe is required for the frame? Pro Kits use 2" EMT. Add the Pipe Kit or source locally—but avoid PVC, which won’t work with the fittings.
How long does assembly take? Expect 2–3 hours. Extra help is recommended for large builds.
Where should I mount the projector? Use the screen size calculator to determine optimal placement. Mount from the ceiling, frame, or floor depending on your projector’s throw ratio.
How do I install the ball bungees? Thread the loop end through the grommet, wrap it around the pipe, then hook the cord over the ball to lock it in place.
