Finishing Styles

Every Carl's Place Golf Impact Screen offers a variety of finishing options, allowing you to tailor it to your installation preferences. Setting up a golf impact screen has never been this simple.

Classic Finishing
2.5" black vinyl edges and grommets around the entire screen. Grommets measure 3/4" outer and 3/8" inner diameter, with a smooth, rounded finish.



Classic with Flaps
Same as Classic, with added 7" flaps lined with 1" loop fastener strips on all sides.



Classic with Loop Fastener
Classic style with 1" loop fastener strips around the perimeter.

Installation

Use with Carl's Place DIY or Pro Series Enclosure
Works seamlessly with C-Series DIY or Pro Series enclosures to help contain golf balls during practice.

Frame Mounted Screens
Attach to a truss or freestanding frame using 6" or 9" black ball bungees (sold separately in any quantity).

Correct Side for Use
Use the side with the Carl’s Place logo (bottom left corner) facing the golfer. This side is rated for ball impact.

Aspect Ratio Consideration
Select a screen that matches your projector’s aspect ratio for best visual performance. If your space limits screen size, prioritize dimensions over perfect aspect ratio.

FAQs

How far should you stand from your impact screen?
Maintain a minimum of 10–12 feet for optimal safety and screen longevity.

Can you iron or steam a golf impact screen?
Ironing is not recommended and may damage the screen. Instead, use a tensioned frame with bungees to naturally reduce wrinkles. If needed, gently iron the back side on low heat only, at your own risk.

Can the impact screen be used outdoors?
No. Carl’s Place screens are intended for indoor use only.

What fasteners are recommended?
Use 6" or 9" ball bungees. Do not secure through the grommets directly—this restricts movement and increases rebound risk. Do not overtighten.

How many ball bungees do I need?
Refer to the Golf Impact Screen Specifications Document for screen size-specific bungee recommendations.

How do you install ball bungees?

1. Insert the loop end through the rear of the grommet

2. Pull until the toggle touches the screen

3. Wrap the cord around the frame

4. Loop the cord over the toggle to secure

All Carl's Place products typically require 1–2 business days for processing before shipment.

Delivery Time:
Most products, including enclosures, impact screens, hitting mats, hitting strips, swing cameras, and accessories, are delivered within 7–10 business days after processing.

Custom Product Delivery:

• Custom enclosures, impact screens, and Built-In Screens: 7–14 business days after processing.
• Built-In Panel Kits: 14–21 business days after processing.

Shipping Process:
Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive tracking information via email. If you haven’t received a shipping notification, your order is likely still being processed.

Shipping Rates:
Most Carl's Place products qualify for free standard shipping. Due to their size and weight, Built-In Panel Kits require freight shipping, with charges calculated at checkout.

Returns & Refunds

Return Policy:
Products can be returned within 30 days if they are in like-new condition, undamaged, and include all original packaging and accessories.

Restocking Fee:
A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Custom Orders:
Custom products such as Custom Enclosures, Impact Screens, Built-In Golf Room Kits, Built-In Screens, Padded Walls, Ceiling Panels, and Curtains cannot be returned or refunded once shipped.

Return Process:

• Provide Details: Include your 5-digit order number and photos of all items you wish to return.
• Approval Required: All returns must be approved by the manufacturer. Once approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address.
• Refund Process: After the items are received and inspected, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  

Cancellations:

• Orders must be canceled within 24 hours to avoid a 3% merchant processing fee.
• To cancel an order, please email info@indoorgolfessentials.com as soon as possible.
• If the order has already shipped, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and the 3% processing fee.
  

Custom & Made-to-Order Products:
Select products, including made-to-order and custom items, may incur a 25% restocking fee if the order has entered production but has not yet shipped.

Warranty Policy

• Defects: Carl's Place guarantees its kits to be free from defects in both material and workmanship at the date of purchase.
• Coverage Limitations: The warranty does not cover parts damaged by use, modification, or normal wear and tear. Liability is limited to the original cost of the purchased kit.
• Warranty Claims: For warranty claims, you should contact us at info@indoorgolfessentials.com with a detailed description of the problem and proof of purchase.
